The Dance Club invites all the people interested in dancing for the next showcase to be held in August/September.
Besides dance club members, other people of IISc can also perform.
Give at least 4 Preferences in decreasing order of your interest (example):: (jive,samba,tango,mambo,.......)

It can be a first come first serve basis (LAST DATE :: 7th May 2011).
Try to give those preferences which you have not perform in the previous years( in JHANKAR )

so that other people(interested in those dance forms) can perform and you can help them.

New Dance Class Session:  Tango and the Viennese waltz

We are starting the regular classes for American version of the Tango and
the Viennese waltz on 12th April(TUE)2011.

Timings: Tuesday & Thursday, 7 to 8 pm
Total 10 classes
Venue: Dance Room (Gymkhana) or SAC

Indian Classical Dance Session

We are starting the regular classes for Bharatnatyam and Kathak.
Registrations will open from 2nd March at the Gymkhana Office.

Timings : Wednesdays and Fridays STARTING 9th March(Wed)
6 to 7pm (Kathak)
7 to 8pm (Bharatnatyam)
Venue : Dance Room (Room besides Aerobics hall, Gymkhana)
Fees : Rs.700 per month, per dance-form.

The workshop is open for the entire IISc community. If you are interested in attending regular classes, you are urged to inform us during or at the end of the workshop.
